Anyone else having a wedding dress that ISN'T white, cream, or ivory? It seems to be a new trend that a lot of brides are choosing dresses with color in them, but is anyone going completely to another color?

FH wants a colored dress... at least one with a significant amount in it (not just a little strip around the middle).

If you are, what color? And where are you getting it from? I'm having a lot of trouble finding colored gowns. :-\ The main sources- David's, Alfred Angelo, etc- are a given. But I'm looking for more of the non-designer, more "budget friendly" approach. Any ideas?

What about a custom made dress?

That would probably get pricey, wouldn't it? I've found dresses on different sites for a few hundred, but none of them are full color. And the only partially colored ones I've seen are from David's Bridal, Alfred Angelo and all the designer people.

Umm I wouldnt think it would be too much. You would have to buy the fabric/material and then find someone able to design and make the dress. Probably no more than 250 - 300 ish I would think. Not sure though lol. I will look around online for you!
